Denis and I took the bus into Bedford yesterday from the small town Susan lives in.  Denis thought he was living through an episode of Corornation Street!  Everyone on the bus seemed to know each other and I'm sure they were all dying to know who we were!

Bedford is very different now than when I was young but it was still nice to visit it for the day.  We walked around the shops a bit and bought some delicious meat pies for our lunch and sat down by the river to eat them.

Walked up to Susan's local pub for our dinner last night and met some of her friends.  Nice to be able to walk everywhere in the village.

Weather looks promising for today!
