Loved the train ride to Berlin today. Eurail pass is the way to go. Riding 1st class with tons of room and comfort, very different than the plane ride over here. Saw tons of wind turbines in both Netherlands and Germany. Why hasn't this caught on in Canada?
Berlin train station is huge and modern but no problems getting a taxi to the hotel. Walked around the neighbourhood a bit and ate an organic, typical German dinner right in this little hotel. Tomorrow is a Berlin 6 hour walking tour! Great way to work off the delicious German beer and wine. :)
